Step One

ARE YOU QUALIFIED

Applicants must be at least 23 years of age with two years of over the road experience.
Must have a valid CDL Class A drivers license.
Must be medically qualified with long and short form DOT physical forms.
Need at least ten years verifiable employment and explanation of pauses in employment.

Speak with our recruiting department to start the application process.

Step Three

THE PROCESS

Complete the application process by filling out forms and information.
Don’t forget to sign all the documents.
Time for that drug screen and alcohol test.

Step Four

THE ORIENTATION

Come ride with one of our professional drivers and take a comprehensive drive test including pre and post trip inspections, backing into docks, and general operation of the vehicle.
Learn how to use all electronic devices including “Relay” by Amazon, and our ELD system.
Assignment of truck and completion of truck inspection.

Step Five

MEET THE TEAM

You will be introduced to a group of professional managers.
The driver is number one at Joyride and you will be treated that way.

The maiden voyage is the big one.
On time pickups and professional, courteous drivers are key.

COMMUNICATION

Please allow our support staff of transportation specialists help you to succeed.
We are here for you 24 hours a day, seven days a week to help with any situation or answer any questions you may have. Please let us help.

Earn Regular Bonuses At Different Levels

Level 2 Driver

  • Basic Salary only
  • no bonuses
 

The Driver will be given the opportunity to:

Level 1 Driver

  • No load rejections (graded on a monthly scale): $100
  • On-time deliveries (graded on a monthly scale): $50
  • Clean DOT inspection: Level 3 inspection $50, Level 2 inspection $75, Level 1 $100
  • Fuel efficiency/Route optimization/Miles reduced bonus: Applicable.
  • $15 bonus for every driver that submits a 5-star rating on Google, follows JoyRide Logistics on social media (Facebook & Instagram)
  • $75 bonus for every month with perfect HOS compliance (BigRoad ELD)
  • We offer a bonus of $75 for every month that a driver reports no maintenance issues or breakdowns due to preventable issues. To qualify for this bonus, drivers must complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and ensure that their vehicle is in good working order before starting their shift. Any violations or preventable issues identified during inspections must be promptly addressed to maintain eligibility for this bonus.
  • Bonus for not requesting days off in a one-month period: $75

 

Referral bonus – Refer a friend/driver and get $500, paid out in 5 installments of $100 at the last pay period of each month. If the 5 months are not up, the bonus will cease the day the referred driver leaves or is terminated.

Elite Driver

  • No load rejections (graded on a monthly scale): $125
  • On-time deliveries (graded on a monthly scale): $100
  • Clean DOT inspection: Level three inspection $75, Level 2 inspection $100, Level 1 $150
  • Fuel efficiency/Route optimization/Miles reduced bonus: Applicable.
  • Bonus for every driver that submits a 5-star rating on Google, follows JoyRide Logistics on social media (Facebook & Instagram): $25
  • $125 bonus for every month with perfect HOS compliance
  • $100 bonus for every month of no reported maintenance issues or breakdowns.
