Highlighting the Highway Heroes at JoyRide

2025 was transformative for JoyRide’s driver community.
The year marked the introduction of JoyRide’s proprietary Driver Retention Program (DRP) and the rollout of the DRP mobile application—an integrated, data-driven platform designed to centralize driver performance, communication history, and predictive retention insights.
For the first time, retention became measurable, transparent, and standardized. The DRP App created a single source of truth across Operations, Safety, and HR, enabling leadership to understand driver needs earlier, provide targeted support, and reward performance objectively through incentive and bonus structures.
Samsara highlighted this cultural shift in its June 2025 case study, featuring driver Steven Williams and emphasizing JoyRide’s commitment to combining technology with a human-centered approach. This recognition amplified JoyRide’s reputation as a driver-first organization. By collecting the first full-year performance baseline, 2025 laid the groundwork for the expansion of DRP 2.0 in 2026. What began as a pilot program evolved into the core of a long-term strategy focused on performance, recognition, retention, and employee satisfaction.
