JoyRide Logistics has been awarded the 2024 Fleet Safety Award in the 3,000,000 to 7,000,000 mile category by the Arizona Trucking Association and the Arizona Trucking Association Foundation. The honor, judged by a panel that included the Arizona Department of Public Safety, Transtar Insurance Brokers, the ATA Safety Consultant, and ATA representatives, recognizes the company’s culture of safety and care that keeps its people and communities thriving.
CHANDLER, AZ – Every mile tells a story. For JoyRide Logistics, those stories aren’t just about deliveries made on time. They’re about families waiting at home, communities sharing the road, and a promise that every driver comes back safe. This year, that promise has been recognized. The Arizona Trucking Association awarded JoyRide Logistics the 2024 Fleet Safety Award in the 3,000,000 to 7,000,000 mile category, honoring not only the miles the company has traveled but the standard it has set: safety first, always.
This recognition highlights what JoyRide Logistics values most: protecting its drivers, its customers, and the communities it serves. It celebrates not only the millions of safe miles logged, but also the culture of safety that guides every decision the company makes.
The award was presented by a distinguished panel of judges, including representatives from the Arizona Department of Public Safety, Transtar Insurance Brokers, the Arizona Trucking Association, and the ATA Safety Consultant.
Representing JoyRide at the ceremony were Amela Bektic, Director of Safety & HR, and Greg Jackson, COO, who proudly accepted the award on behalf of the entire JoyRide family.

Driven by People, Defined by Safety
JoyRide President Adis Danan reflected on what this achievement means for the company. He emphasized that the award is not simply about recognition, but about the people at the heart of JoyRide Logistics.
“This award is about more than recognition. It is about the people who make JoyRide what it is. Our drivers spend long hours on the road, facing challenges most never see, and they do it with professionalism and care. Our job as a company is to support them with the best training, reliable equipment, and a culture where safety always comes first. When we take care of our people, everything else follows. Our customers feel it, our communities benefit, and our standard of excellence is upheld.”
His words highlight a company-wide philosophy that extends beyond miles and metrics. At JoyRide, safety and well-being are viewed as the foundation of growth, and this award reinforces that belief.
Building on this perspective, Amela Bektic, Director of Safety & HR, spoke about the discipline and teamwork that made the award possible. She pointed out that JoyRide’s success is the result of countless small actions taken every day by the entire team.
“Safety does not happen by chance. It is the result of hard work and consistency. Every truck inspection, every driver training session, and every safety check builds toward moments like this. I am proud of our team for embracing high standards day in and day out. This award is proof that when safety becomes part of the culture, it shows in every mile we drive.”
Her message reflects the practical side of JoyRide’s culture: that safety is not just a value on paper but a discipline practiced daily.
Adding to this, Alma Delic, Assistant Safety Director, shared how this recognition reflects the dedication seen across every level of the organization.
“Every person here plays a part in keeping JoyRide safe. From our office staff to our maintenance crew to every driver on the road, it’s truly a team effort. We work hard to make sure everyone feels supported and heard, because safety starts with communication and trust. This award shows what can happen when everyone moves with the same purpose.”
Alma’s insight captures the collective spirit behind JoyRide’s success. The belief that safety thrives when people work together, stay accountable, and care deeply about one another.
For JoyRide Logistics, safety has never been a box to check. It is a way of working and a standard that guides every decision across the company. From the dispatch office to the maintenance team to the drivers on the road, every person plays a role in making safety part of everyday operations.
The 2024 Fleet Safety Award stands as proof of that shared commitment and serves as motivation to raise the bar even higher as the company continues to grow.
